First Impression (L1)

This blog will be about how guys should introduce themselves to their girlfriend’s parents. Most guys get scared about the whole situation when it comes to meeting parents, but it really isn’t a terrible thing. I understand that it does get a little scary once you meet the dad, but it shouldn’t be a terrible thing. You just always have to make a good impression when you first meet them, because if you don’t get along with the parents your relationship will go downhill from there.  If the parents don’t like you the first time you meet them, thankfully you can make yourself look like a better man the next time you see them by being polite or having good manners. For the girl meeting the guy’s parents, you shouldn’t be scared at all to meet them. The guy’s parents usually are always nice and enjoy meeting the girl who is dating their son… unless they are psycho parents. It is always normal to be a bit nervous when you meet the parents, but you can’t let that get in the way of being polite. When you are around the parents, you probably shouldn’t swear or be rude because that will just make you look bad. Especially if you plan on staying with this person for a while because if they don’t like you… chances are your relationship will struggle if they don’t allow them to go out with you to places. If you end up doing fine when you meet them, it is always a plus to have a second family basically to be yourself around. Hopefully this will help you the next time you have to meet parents, because once you ruin your first impression it is very hard to get another chance on making yourself look better.
